Egg Pakoda shopkeeper Sujan Sarkar is originally from New Jalpaiguri, Bengal. He says that he came to know that there is not even a single shop of this kind of egg pakoda in Katihar. He thought that the recipe of Bengal should be started in Katihar and as soon as he started the egg pakoda shop, he started getting good response from the customers.
He says that first prepare potato chokha and fry it. After that, boil the egg, wrap it in gram flour, fry it in oil and serve it to the customers with coriander chutney and various types of mixed salads, which the customers like very much. Shopkeepers say that they are extremely satisfied with the response of customers.
300 pieces sold in 3 hours
His partner Badal Kumar Yadav says that this shop was opened on the idea of Sujan Bhaiya. He is running the shop along with them. Now he is also very happy with the response of the customers. Overall, there is always a crowd of customers at the egg pakoda shop opened by two friends from Bengal located at Pani Tanki Chowk in Katihar. Here 300 pieces of pakoda are sold in just 3 hours. This shop is becoming a favorite food destination for customers.
